Thomas J. Trueheart, MD is board certified by both the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He has been in the practice of allergy since 1988. He is a graduate of the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Trueheart completed his residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. He then completed a fellowship in pediatrics and adult allergy and immunology also at the Detroit Medical Center. While at the Detroit Medical Center, he did a clinically published research article on Gastroesophageal Reflux and its effect on children with asthma. He is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, a member of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology, Michigan Allergy Society, American Medical Association, Oakland County Medical Society; and the Wayne County Medical Society. He is on staff at the Detroit Medical Center which includes Hospital of Michigan, Harper Hospital and Sinai-Grace. He is also on staff at Providence and Troy Beaumont Hospitals.
